Meet Emma

I'm Emma van Dijkum. Former VP Product at Multiverse and Funding Circle, with senior roles at Naked Wines and Octopus. I've built B2B product teams from 16 to 120 and led through reorgs, M&A and the kind of growth pressure that tests every leader.

I'm not a generic executive coach. I've sat in the product seat, owned the P&L and defended the roadmap to hostile ExCos — and now I help others do it better.

How is this different from coaching?
Coaching develops the person. Advisory shapes the work. Most clients use both.
Will you be in our Slack / standups?
By exception, not by default. Embedded doesn't mean omnipresent — it means you have access between sessions.
What's the minimum commitment?
Three months. Anything shorter and we don't see the impact.
How is this different from hiring a consultant?
A consultant diagnoses and recommends. I stay in the room while you implement. The difference is accountability — I'm invested in the outcome, not the deliverable.
Can this run alongside an existing Head of Product?
Yes, and it works best that way. I plug in as a senior thinking partner to your existing leader, not a replacement. Most clients see it as giving their Head of Product a fractional CPO in their corner.
